Monthly Observances
These sacred days are observed every month based on the Hindu lunar calendar
Shashti
The 6th day after every new moon, dedicated to Lord Murugan. Special Velabhishek, poojas, and prasadham distribution are performed on this most sacred tithi.
Sankatahara Chaturthi
The 4th day of the waning moon, dedicated to Lord Ganesha. Devotees observe this day with special prayers and offerings for the removal of obstacles.
Krittikai
Monthly Krittikai nakshatra day, of special significance for Lord Murugan. Sacred lamps are lit throughout the temple in His divine honour.
Ekadashi
Observed on the 11th day of the lunar cycle, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Devotees fast and engage in prayers for spiritual growth, purification, and liberation (moksha).
Pournami (Full Moon)
The full moon day of every month, considered highly auspicious for prayers, meditation, and temple visits. Special poojas and deepam are performed for divine blessings and peace.
